Sports Medicine

Often, there are muscle or nerve imbalances that affect joints, preventing them from healing or causing degeneration. Dr. Maria will use muscle testing and other unique diagnostic tests to discover the cause of Musculoskeletal problems. Kinesio Taping as often seen in the Olympics, is one effective method used to balance injured soft tissue. Applied Kinesiology is another technique that can be very effective for acute injury, chronic pain and post surgery healing.
