Meet Dr. Maria

Dr. Maria Maricich is a doctor of chiropractic. She was born and raised in Sun Valley. After graduating from Wood River High School, she went on to become the top American downhill ski racer in 1983 and 1984. She was also ranked #10 in the world. She raced in the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo. During her athletic pursuits, she became very interested in any modalities that could maximize her potential. She found that nutrition, mental attitude and physical wellbeing were all necessary factors. Now she brings all these aspects to you in her practice at Quantum Healing Arts in Ketchum.

In order to become a Doctor of Chiropractic, one must complete a course of study which is similar to a general practitioner MD. The difference is chiropractors do more neurology and no surgery or drugs. They must pass 4 sets of National Examination prior to sitting for the state board exam. Dr. Maria Maricich is  licensed by the Idaho State Board of Licensing and has been practicing in Idaho since 1991. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Maricich is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of her patients.

Dr. Maria is a certified practioner of Network Spinal Analysis. She has completed 200 post graduate hours of study in Applied Kinesiology. She completed a study of the latest knowledge in Functional Endocrinology and Hormone Balancing with Dr. Datis Kharrazian. She has recently finished a course  in Brain Physiology and Neurotransmitters, also from the "Functional Standpoint". Dr. Maria finds Energy Medicine beneficial in some cases and has completed 9 Modules of study using the BodyTalk method. She has also completed 3 levels of study with Dr. Richard Bartlett, the founder of Matrix Energetics. Dr. Maria uses "Energy Psychology" to effectively restore emotional wellbeing. In addition, Dr. Maria is a member of the American Institute of Naturopathic Physcians.

Dr. Maricich uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions from her vast array of study that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Maricich is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
